The Foundry Economy ModeChen Liang FeiFoxconn Jumped The Building Incident

The reason why Foxconn jumped from the building is basically the same as the reason why the employees are on strike.

Last night, Peng Guanghua, a deputy director of the Institute of labor relations at Renmin University of China and a core expert of the labor contract law research group in Baoan District, Shenzhen, told reporters in an interview with the Morning Post reporter that "the specific reasons are more complicated. There are problems in China's manufacturing, institutional problems, and imperfect labor and capital mechanisms or lack of experience" and so on. "Peng Guanghua,"

Peng Guanghua said that these events had a tendency to spread inland from coast to coast, not just a case. "It's not an accident. We must consider its inevitability".

Peng Guanghua pointed out that the mode of negotiation between employers and employees is an effective way to solve the recent problems of labor and capital. He suggested that the mechanism be named the "Xin'an model", which can be popularized throughout the country.

It is understood that this mechanism is the "1 + 3" labor consultation mechanism, namely, "one goal" - "labor and capital, one heart, one love, win win", and "three platforms", that is, the 3 communication platforms between the top and bottom staff of the management, the middle managers and employees, the lowest managers and the staff members, so as to achieve the full coverage of the participants in the negotiations.

"Labour negotiations must be pparent and democratic. This can give us some hope that we will jump out of the building without any problems and go on strike without incident.

We all hope to expand the face-to-face relationship between employers and employees in a more flexible way.

Peng Guanghua said that labor and capital can face each other and treat each other as a living person, not as machine management, not as part management. Employees can participate in communication "is a very decent thing."

In the long run, China's sustainable development depends on domestic demand. If we want to expand domestic demand, we must expand the income distribution of the labour party.

Peng Guanghua believes that labor consultation may be the future labor and capital negotiation mechanism. "To make it clear, wages can not be forced to grow, it depends on negotiation. But we have no bargaining power now, no negotiation body, no negotiation conditions, and negotiation mechanism can be formed through labor consultation."

For a wide range of strikes and Shenzhen Foxconn jumping events, there is a view that extremely boring jobs can cause heavy mental burden and even drive people crazy. This is not anticipated by previous industrial theories, but today it is happening in China.

As the leader of the "foundry economy", Foxconn has expanded to an unprecedented scale. However, it has produced unexpected problems and is difficult to further enhance. It shows that the road of China as a "world factory" has come to an end, and it must accelerate to the top of the value chain and the economy will continue to develop.
