Irish Pavilion Holds The Official Ceremony Of &Nbsp; Speech By President Maikali J

The official ceremony of the Irish Pavilion Day was held in the Expo Center this morning.

Mary Mcalis, H.E. Mary McAleece, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Guangya attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Zhao Yali, deputy chief representative of the Chinese government of World Expo, Shanghai, attended the ceremony.

Tang Dengjie, vice mayor of Shanghai, officiate at the ceremony.

President Mary Mcalis said in his speech that he and his husband and Irish delegation are delighted to come to Shanghai again and observe World Expo.

She said that after his first visit to Shanghai, he told his children that a new future has been seen in Shanghai, and the city is showing the future.

She congratulated all the people who contributed to the success of this World Expo. This is a vibrant World Expo, and the theme of "Better City, better life" has aroused strong sympathy among Irish people.

Wang Guangya, on behalf of the Chinese government and the World Expo Organizing Committee of Shanghai, warmly welcome President Maikali J's participation in the activities of the Irish National Pavilion Day.

He said that World Expo is a great gathering of the achievements of human civilization. Every session of World Expo has become a post station to witness the development of human civilization. It has promoted wide international exchanges worldwide and provided opportunities and stages for countries to broaden their horizons and show themselves.

At the ceremony, artists from Ireland presented excellent performances such as solo, solo, tap dancing and so on, and won applause from the audience.

The theme of the World Expo Pavilion is "the evolution of urban space and the evolution of people's urban life", located in the C area of Expo Park.

The exhibition hall is composed of five cuboid exhibition areas, showing the characteristics of Irish urban life in different periods.
