In September, China'S Textile And Clothing Market Continued To Recover, And The Export Volume Of Four Major Categories Of Commodities Continued To Rise

The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles disclosed on the 26th that in September, China's textile and clothing market continued to recover. The export volume of yarn, fabric, household textiles and knitted and tattered clothing of the four major commodities rose again after the previous month, up 36.4%, 4.4%, 26.2% and 8.7% respectively.

In September, in terms of export volume, yarn and household textiles rose by 13.7% and 4.7% respectively, while fabrics and knitted and tattered clothing fell by 2.4% and 4.1% respectively. In terms of export prices, the four major categories of goods all declined, of which yarn declined the most by 20.4%, while fabrics, home textiles and knitted and tattered clothing declined by 8.7%, 6.1% and 5.7% respectively.

In addition, in September, under the influence of factors such as the low base in the same period last year, the export volume of Zhejiang, Shandong and Anhui and other major export provinces increased year on year. Zhejiang maintained growth for the second consecutive month, while Shandong and Anhui stopped falling and turned up, with the increase of 3.1%, 2% and 0.3% respectively in the three provinces. Among other provinces, except Guangdong, which declined by 13.9%, the decline of other major provinces and cities narrowed.

From January to September, 10 of the 31 provinces (cities and districts, excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) in China maintained growth, with Xinjiang (29%), Guangxi (53%), Sichuan (26%), Heilongjiang (52%) and Guizhou (48%) increasing significantly. Among the top six key regions, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shandong, Fujian and Shanghai decreased by 5.8%, 17.1%, 13.8%, 9.6%, 20.2% and 14.5% respectively, slightly less than that of last month.
