The Country'S First Apparel E-Commerce Industry Prosperity Index Was Released

On the evening of December 28, the Circulation Branch of China Textile Industry Federation released the Prosperity of China's Apparel E-commerce · Tianmen Index, which is the first prosperity index of the apparel e-commerce industry in China.

It is reported that the circulation branch of China Textile Industry Federation spent five months visiting the leading apparel e-commerce clusters in China, collecting 300 enterprise samples from 7 clusters including Tianmen, and finally forming two groups of data, Tianmen Index and National Index.

The Tianmen Index includes three secondary indicators, namely, the production prosperity index, e-commerce prosperity index, and e-commerce prosperity index, which respectively reflect the production and manufacturing, e-commerce sales, and e-commerce goods supply. The three indicators are weighted to generate the Tianmen clothing e-commerce prosperity index.

The monitoring data shows that from August to December this year, the average value of the Tianmen index was 50.15. Among the sub indexes, the average value of the production prosperity index was 50.59, the average value of the e-commerce prosperity index was 50.66, and the average value of the logistics prosperity index was 49.20. From the perspective of overall operation, the overall situation of Tianmen Garment E-commerce in the second half of the year was stable and good. The average prosperity in five months was higher than 50, with a small monthly fluctuation. The overall situation was in an expansion range. The related enterprises in Tianmen Garment E-commerce industry always maintained a high degree of commercial activity. From the perspective of monthly trend, the Tianmen Index is basically consistent with the trend of relevant data in China's online retail, platform sales and other industries. In September, the traditional peak season of the textile and clothing industry, and in November, the traditional peak season of the e-commerce industry, showed a higher boom value.

From January to November this year, the sales volume of clothing e-commerce in Tianmen City was 423 million pieces, and the daily average sales volume was 1.25 million pieces, with a turnover of 34.5 billion yuan, up 75% year on year. It is expected that the annual total sales will reach 40 billion yuan.

"A comparative analysis of the Tianmen Index and the national index shows that the curve trend of the two indexes is consistent, and the difference is small." The relevant person in charge of the circulation branch of the China Textile Industry Federation said that in August, the Tianmen Index was 51.07, higher than the national index of 49.89; In September, the Tianmen index was 51.10, higher than the national index of 50.33.

The person in charge introduced that the construction of the Tianmen Index aims to truly reflect the business situation of the clothing e-commerce industry and provide the government with decision-making basis; Guide the innovation and upgrading of Tianmen textile and clothing industry through scientific industry analysis; By creating the Tianmen clothing e-commerce IP, we will expand the voice of Tianmen in the national textile and clothing industry.
