According to China Customs statistics, the import and export volume of fabrics in January 2016 was 3 billion 850 million meters, up 7.7% over the same period last year, and the import and export volume was 5 billion 210 million US dollars, up 1.3% from the same period last year.

Among them, the export volume is 3 billion 650 million meters, up 8.9%; the export amount is 4 billion 820 million US dollars, up 3.6%; the average export price is 1.32 US dollars / kg, down 4.9% compared with the same period last year.

The import volume was 200 million meters, down 10.4%, and the import amount was 390 million US dollars, down 20%.

The average import price was 1.93 US dollars / meter, down 10.8% compared with the same period last year.

In January 2016, the total export volume of fabrics was 3 billion 850 million meters in January, up 7.7% from the same period last year, and the export amount was 4 billion 820 million US dollars, up 3.6% from the same period last year.

The export volume of silk woven fabrics decreased, and the export volume was $70 million, down 12.9%.

Export volume of cotton, wool animal woven fabric and chemical fiber woven fabric increased, with an increase of 14.5%, 8.4% and 1.9% respectively.

In January, my fabric exported $310 million to Hongkong, down 6.6%.

Exports to Pakistan have declined, with exports of US $190 million, down 9.4%.

Exports to Bangladesh and India also increased, with exports of $350 million and $140 million respectively, with an increase of 20.8% and 45.8% respectively.

In January, I exported $40 million to Japanese fabrics, down 14.8%.

EU region

Exports grew, and exports amounted to US $390 million, an increase of 1.4%.

Exports to Latin America and North America declined, with exports of 410 million and 190 million US dollars, respectively, falling by 3.3% and 11% respectively.

Exports accounted for 65.7% of the total export volume of our fabrics, with exports of US $3 billion 170 million, an increase of 7.5% over the same period last year.

Among them, exports to Burma increased significantly, with exports of US $80 million, an increase of 31.9%; exports to Vietnam, Indonesia and Kampuchea also increased to varying degrees, with exports of 640 million, 240 million and 150 million US dollars, respectively, increasing by 10.9%, 16.7% and 18.2% respectively.

In January 2016, fabric export price was 1.32 US dollars / meter, down 4.9% compared to the same period last year.

Export prices for Asian fabrics were 1.49 US dollars / meter, down 3.4% compared to the same period last year, and the yarn export prices to EU and Latin America were 1.37 US dollars / M and 1.02 yuan / m, respectively, all down 5.8%.

The unit price of cotton, silk woven fabrics, wool animal hair fabrics and chemical fiber woven fabrics decreased slightly, at 1.6 US dollars per meter, 5.19 US dollars per meter, 7.09 US dollars per meter, and 1.07 US dollars / meters, respectively, down 3.4%, 7.1%, 5.4% and 5.2% respectively.
