The woolen sweater industry's off-season did not know when it came, and has not yet showed signs of leaving. In the long months, some enterprises in the busy season did not expose the ill condition and began to show clearly.

Some enterprises are too mobile, some enterprises are losing their competitiveness in the off-season, and some enterprises are still working day and night, but they still can not stop losing money.

The so-called "Da Xia" is going to be difficult. If we do not find the crux of the problem, even if we take away the "off-season" fig leaf, the collapse of the enterprise will be sooner or later.

Last year, we participated in a seminar. At that time, the drawbacks of trade war had begun to emerge. The topic we talked about was "the grim situation of the sweater industry in 2019".

During the period, a teacher surnamed Nie said such a paragraph: "in 2019, the sweater industry will eliminate these three kinds of enterprises". Now, half of 2019, Professor Nie's words are just like thunder and lightning. They say that three kinds of enterprises are difficult in the first half of the year.

Obviously, most of the sweater industry are ordinary people like me. We saw them and believed them, so we shared them in words. Let more people have a systematic understanding, and they will not change their efforts to make up for it.

The first type: enterprises that do not know "open source".

Open source, as the name suggests, develops water sources and increases financial revenue. Perhaps many people will not believe that there are enterprises in the world that do not know how to open source.

But in fact, there are many enterprises in the sweater industry that do not understand "open source".

I remember there was a down jacket shop called AI XX on the street. The clothes sold were not cheap. They closed after the winter. After a few days, the unexpected clearance signs made you feel happy.

As a result, when you walk into the shop, there is no relationship between the things sold and AI XX half price, but the number of people fooled is countless.

In the second year, AI XX down jacket was back on the market again, and there was no longer a grand event. Some of the people were disappointed with AI XX, and some people who didn't know that they were being cheated were waiting for AI XX to open up their discounts. Did you say AI XX was called open source?

Woolen sweater and AI XX, a year full of five or six months of market, to cope with the off-season is the normal sweater people, but many enterprises have not made the off-season "open source" breakthrough. To enrich the types of products, so that in the late spring, summer, early autumn also has considerable competitiveness, instead of holding a "go to the water poor place, sitting in the busy season" mentality.

Although some enterprises have made some product adjustments, there have been deviations in strategy. Obviously, it is a high-end customer group, but it pushes high-end customers into material and price deviations. The effect of this product can not only be open-source, but also easily lead to the loss of customers.

Some companies still flaunt "tradition" and reject the Internet. This is a way of rejecting an open source.

The second type: enterprises that do not know how to throttle.

Throttling, it is easy to understand, save water and save money.

It is said that sweater enterprises do not know how to save money, and the ironing workers who are deeply saved by "poison" are the first to refuse: "farting, sweater enterprises are the most economical throttle enterprises in the world. Our workshop is not equipped with air conditioning and high temperature operation. You told me that sweater enterprises do not know how to save money."

But please believe me, exploiting employees is not the same as saving money.

To save money is to save unnecessary expenses. We find too many unnecessary expenses in the sweater industry, such as high procurement costs. The throttling at this level is not at the cost of losing employees' interests, but many businesses do not do so. Although trust is the foundation of enterprise cooperation, too much pursuit of ease is not a stumbling block in seeking new cooperation.

For example, some unnecessary production, no data driven sweater enterprises, mostly is a gambler mentality, gambling last year's hot money, this year is still popular, gambling on the first quarter of the subscription, this quarter will still be overweight. But even sweater companies who fail to do data modeling can often backfire with their own sense of smell.

The first element of throttling is to learn data modeling, data analysis, and data will tell you a lot of truth.

The third category: enterprises that do not know "welfare".

We once asked the head of some sweater enterprises: "what do you think is the core competitiveness of your company?"

The answers varied.

The confident boss said, "it's a wise eye."

The modest boss said, "it is the trust of the customer."

Few bosses will shift their core competitiveness to qualified personnel. Of course, talent is not the core competitiveness of the sweater business, and the ability to manage and train talents is.

Enterprises retain good people, excellent people cultivate the same excellent people, so that it will certainly enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.

But the reality often gives people a head start. The staff turnover rate of sweater enterprises is high in recent years.

Through investigation, we find an astonishing conclusion that the relationship between staff turnover and wages is not large in the sweater industry. The more formal enterprises are, the less often they are paid, but on the contrary, the rate of staff turnover is lower.

The reason lies in the two words "welfare".

Many sweater enterprises do not pay five risks, but people engaged in sweater related work, children often go to the age of reading, many people prefer to pay less, but also to pay social security, to solve the problem of children's enrollment.

Welfare is not only five risks, but also two words, "respect".

Last year I visited a workshop, a young man with twenty lips and lips, but cleft lip and palate, but he was very optimistic. His face was always smiling. I asked him, "what's so happy?"

He said, "the boss does not hate me for being ugly. He takes me to dinner at night."

I don't know what kind of cynicism he has ever experienced before he can say "no". But I know that he has earned due respect in this enterprise.

Those who do not know the benefits will eventually lose their hearts, not to mention the core competitiveness of management and training.
